Safe For The Environment
|
- Unlike many other fencing products commonly found on the market, Armor Fence is not made with pressure treated wood and does not have any metallic compounds such as arsenic, lead or copper…
- Armor Fence is made with 100% whitewood and doug fir harvested directly from the great Pacific Northwest.
|
| Armor Fence with KDQ: Kiln Dried Quality |
- Belco guarantees that Armor Fence will be
kiln dried to 19% moisture content at time of manufacturing. Many
competitors claim low moisture content for stability but can’t back it
up, resulting in shrinkage and mold problems… With Armor fence, it’s
guaranteed.

The Armor Fence 2-Coat Process with Mold, Fungus & Termite Protection |
First Coat: Armor Fence is spray coated with mold, fungus and termite protection…
- Termite & fungal decay protection is provided by borate solution
- Borate also acts as a diffusion mechanism, pulling the other spray coat ingredients into the cellulose fiber for
total penetration…
- Inhibitor Solution Prevents Mold
- Most manufacturers mix these ingredients into the
paint, however, green or “stabilized fencing” as it’s often referred
to, has mold spores that already exist which can’t be stopped. A
moldicide mixed with a stain can prevent new spores from forming but
will not kill existing spores present in the green lumber.
- By kiln drying then applying the first coat of the Armor Fence 2-Coat Process, Belco has eliminated this problem...
Second Coat: Armor Fence is then flood coated with a beautiful cedar tone stain
- Generously applied at the factory, the cedar stain can last up to five years before re-application is necessary*
